William N. Mcmillan III

William N. McMillan, III, was born in Glendale, CA and received his B.A. from Seattle University in 1970 and his J.D. degree from Whittier College School of Law, Los Angeles, CA in 1976.
Mr. McMillan began his career first as an associate and then as a partner with the prestigious trial firm of Green O’Reilly, Broillet, Paul Simon, McMillan & Wheeler in Los Angeles, CA, leaving that firm in 1988 to begin his own highly successful firm. At both firms, he specialized in complex catastrophic injury and death cases including those involving products liability, medical malpractice, and elder abuse. Presently, Mr. McMillan serves as of-counsel to DeWitt Algorri & Algorri where he has continued to handle complicated and catastrophic cases. Mr. McMillan has tried numerous cases to verdict and has achieved wide recognition from his peers. In 1986, he had the largest products liability case in Inyo County. He also received the largest verdict against the County of Los Angeles in a medical malpractice action. He was nominated as Trial Lawyer of the Year in 2010, based on a six million dollar verdict in an automobile accident case.
Mr. McMillan has an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC), the American Association for Justice, the Top 100 100 Trial Lawyers, an invitation only association that is recognized as one of the most prestigious trial lawyer associations in the United States and he is also an associate in the American Board of Trial Advocates, another invitation only, peer-recognized organization. In 2010 Bill was a nominee for CAALA Trial Lawyer. He has been selected as a Southern California Super Lawyer 2012-2023.
